Logos provides implications for further remediation

Logos provides teachers and reading specialists with individual profiles of each child’s strengths and weaknesses within reading. Hence, by applying Logos reading remediation can successfully be adapted to each child’s individual needs. In accordance with recent research individually adapted reading remediation is a prerequisite in order to overcome dyslexia (Gersten et al. 2009, Slavin et al., 2010; Høien-Tengesdal, 2012).

Logos is a true diagnostic instrument

Logos is a true diagnostic instrument in the sense that the basic underlying functional impairments in dyslexia can be revealed. Logos is standardized and based on current theoretical conceptions of reading difficulties. Consequently Logos also provides a clear theoretical framework for the correct interpretation of the results.
